Part of the technical cooperation project: „Energy Efficiency and Grid Integration of Renewable Energy“(EEGIRE)

At the Work Group Meeting „Discussion on proposed Grid Code & examples of Code in similar natured countries or advanced” on 23 September in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Energynautics CEO Dr. Thomas Ackermann presented on international experience in grid codes. Energynautics also did a review of the Bengali grid code and identified necessary amendments. The findings were presented and discussed during the meeting.

The Work Group Meeting was part of the technical cooperation project: „Energy Efficiency and Grid Integration of Renewable Energy“(EEGIRE). The project seeks to improve the conditions to integrate solar power into the grid and improve efficiency in the power grid. The facilitation of the national technical Work Group to promote grid integration of solar energy through technical expertise is one of the project’s core activities. The group consists of representatives of ministries, operators, regulators, the private sector and research institutions.
