Successful Acceptance Test of in-house development PV Port

On 13 March 2018, Energynautics and PA-ID presented the PV Port prototype to the contracting entity “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit” (GIZ) – the German development agency. The German government-owned development bank KFW, which is also interested in a project participation, inspected the system on 22 March 2018.

During both meetings, the project partners could successfully demonstrate the different features of PV Port: The snoopiXcontroller, a control box developed by Energynautics, ensures that the PV-battery plug & play system increases the own-consumption and that no power is exported to the grid. This was GIZ’s main objective, as most Indian power meters always count up, whether power is imported or exported.

The snoopiXcontroller also monitors the total current on the home’s wiring. If the cables are in danger of being overloaded, the control box lowers the power output of PV Port, so that the protection by the MCB at the house connection is guaranteed.

The presentations were a huge success and yet another prove of the continuously good cooperation between Energynautics and their recurring customer GIZ.
