As the concluding step of the project “Role of Distribution Companies in using Grid Support Services from Solar Rooftop PV systems and Storage”, commissioned by GIZ in mid-2019, Energynautics’ CEO Dr. Eckehard Tröster presented results of the study.

During his presentation, he provided an overview of findings related to the integration of solar photovoltaic and batteries to the Indian distribution grid, indicating via case studies their impacts to the distribution grid. He also showed how they are technically capable of providing grid support services and conveyed the main recommendations.

The webinar was organized by GIZ on the topic “Integration of Distributed PV in the Indian Electricity Distribution System”, and took place online between the 25th to 27th of November 2020. The event ended with a panel discussion in which Dr. Eckehard Tröster and other active members in the Indian distribution scene discussed current challenges of grid integration of large-scale distributed PV.
