The Call for Papers has started: abstract submission open until 15 December
6th International Hybrid Power Systems Workshop to be held in Madeira and virtually from 26 – 27 April 2022
After the successful premiere of conferences in the hybrid event format during the Energynautics Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week 2021 in Berlin, we are happy to announce that speakers of the 6th International Hybrid Power Systems Workshop can either present on-site in Madeira or virtually from 26 – 27 April 2022.
For further information on the Call for Papers and the main topics, please refer to the workshop website and have a look at our Call for Papers Flyer.
About the Hybrid Power Systems Workshop
One main objective of the 6th International Hybrid Power Systems Workshop is to discuss the challenges that arise with the integration of high shares of renewables (wind, solar, hydro) into isolated/island power systems/micro-grids in combination with batteries/flywheels and conventional power generators. Finding viable combinations of conventional and up to 100% renewable based energy is one key solution for the efficient and sustainable running of these types of power systems.
The other main objective is to investigate issues concerning Hybrid Power Plants such as how to maximize the utilization of grid connection capacity, how to establish HPPs in the regulatory framework (grid codes) or how to develop control concepts to maximize renewable energy feed.
International experts will convene for the 6th International Hybrid Power Systems Workshop to share their project experiences, research results and best practices and to detect areas in need of improvement.
