Energynautics CEOs Dr. Thomas Ackermann and Dr. Eckehard Tröster presented at the premier expert workshop for partners of German bilateral development cooperation in the energy sector from 19 – 23 November 2018 in Berlin, Germany.

The purpose of the event was to support development cooperation partners in advancing national transformation processes towards sustainable energy systems and energy access. Another focus was on intensifying exchanges on energy and development policy issues both with the speakers and between the cooperation partners.

Dr. Thomas Ackermann presented his extensive experiences in “Lessons learned from 20 years Capacity Building” whilst Dr. Tröster focused his presentation on “High shares of decentralized power generation and the distribution grid: Planning, operations, assuring quality of supply and cost efficiency”.

Around 150 participants from about 30 countries attended the event. The majority of attendees represented the higher working levels from energy ministries, regulatory authorities, energy companies and associations.
