Energynautics CEO Dr. Thomas Ackermann contributed with four presentations in the field of renewable energy generation of electricity to the Uganda Capacity Development Programme on Renewable Energy organized by LIFE Academy Sweden.

The second phase of the programme included on-site meetings from 15 – 20 May in Uganda, where amongst others, Thomas Ackermann presented on the topics of:

  • Renewable Energy: An Important Technology To Decarbonise The Energy System – A System Perspective
  • Renewable Grid Integration Aspects
  • Design of Off-Grid Systems

The group included managers and key persons actively working in strengthening the conditions of investments in renewable energy and sustainable energy solutions, who can contribute to a development towards a more sustainable energy system in Uganda. During the four day on-site meetings, they benefited from world-wide best practices and seized the opportunity to share knowledge and networks. They worked together in teams to develop and implement a Change Project that will support change processes within the participants’ own organisations and areas of activity.
