Successful first virtual Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week!

The 4th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium, the 10th Solar & Storage Integration Workshop and the 19th Wind Integration Workshop were held virtually for the first time in November 2020.

The first virtual Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week has now been successfully concluded and it proved to be filled with high-quality presentations and great discussions of a knowledgeable group of international experts.

More than 500 participants from 44 countries from power system operators, transmission and distribution grid operators, wind turbine, solar inverter and charging station manufacturers, universities and research institutes, and consulting companies convened to share insights in the current status of grid integration of renewable energies.

Instead of the already planned on-site Workshop in Ljubljana, the Energynautics organizing team had to switch to virtual events in this unusual year.

The new virtual conference format has shown that all that participants value in the on-site events translated quite well to the virtual stage: exciting presentations, international project experiences, great networking opportunities and lively discussions.

In addition to the conference sessions, Introductory Tutorials on Ancillary Services and Grid Integration of Electric Vehicles were also quite well received. These Capacity Building webinars are part of Energynautics’ regular services.

Next year’s conferences on renewable energy grid integration are scheduled for September 2021 in Germany. The Call for Abstracts will start in February 2021. Check the conference websites for regular updates
