The agenda for the 8th International Hybrid Power Plants & Systems Workshop, scheduled for 14-15 May 2024, has been officially published and online registration is now open.

Featuring over 80 presentations across 20 sessions, this year’s Workshop promises a diverse range of topics covering everything from modeling and battery aspects to frequency and black start aspects. Attendees can expect to gain valuable insights from international case studies showcasing Hybrid Power Systems and Hybrid Power Plants from around the globe, including locations like the Faroe Islands, Madeira, Hawaii, Grand Bahama, and more.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the Workshop’s host region, the Azores. Highlights include the keynote session featuring e.g. the Azorean energy strategy and a showcase of the hybrid power plant on Graciosa Island. Furthermore, a dedicated country session will provide invaluable project experiences from the Azores.

In addition to the main event, the 8th Hybrid Power Plants & Systems Workshop on 14-15 May 2024, the program offers a variety of separately bookable accompanying events to enrich the workshop experience.
