6th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium and 21st Wind & Solar Integration Workshop in The Hague, Netherlands

Agendas published and online registration open for the Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week.

The preliminary agendas for the 21st Wind & Solar Integration Workshop and the 6th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium have been published. Both events are part of the Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week that will take place from 10 – 14 October 2022 in The Hague, Netherlands.

6th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium | 10 Oct 2022
1st Hydrogen Power System Integration Symposium | 11 Oct 2022
21st Wind & Solar Integration Workshop | 12 – 14 Oct 2022

During the three-day Wind & Solar Integration Workshop, more than 130 international speakers will share their insights on grid integration of variable renewable energies in more than 30 sessions. Grid Forming will again be prominently featured with three dedicated sessions. For the first time, Hydrogen Aspects will also play a major role with three sessions while there will also be a focus on Hybrid Systems and Forecasting.

During the 6th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium, 30+ speakers will highlight the latest topics in integrating large scale electromobility into the power grid. Focus topics of this year’s symposium are Smart Charging, Distribution Grid Issues and Modelling Aspects.

The agenda of the NEW 1st Hydrogen Power System Integration Symposium with many insightful presentations by invited speakers will be published soon.

Accompanying Events

In addition to the conferences, the Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week also features exciting accompanying events.

Besides poster sessions and networking events, a tutorial will be offered on 11 October 2022: Lessons Learned from Grid Integration of VRE.

In this high-quality tutorial, Debra Lew and Julia Matevosyan of Energy Systems Integration Group (ESIG), Nicholas Miller of HickoryLedge and Thomas Ackermann of Energynautics offer great insights into lessons learned from years of experience in grid integration of Variable Renewable Energies (VRE).

The lectures will be on
• Resource Adequacy and System Balancing
• Frequency Control and System Stability
• Introduction to Grid Forming Inverters from the Power System Perspective
• Grid Integration of VRE: Activities in 20 Countries

On the second day of the 21st Wind & Solar Integration Workshop a networking dinner will take place at the atmospheric Atrium of the DOB-Academy, an institute set up by a group of professionals with a passion for the offshore energy sector. Home of the DOB-Academy is De Oude Bibliotheek, an inspiring historic building dating from 1915, which used to serve as the library of the TU-Delft. Now it has been transformed into an event location for professionals in the offshore energy industry and serves as a prominent center for knowledge exchange.

Registration for all conferences and accompanying events of the Renewable Energy Grid Integration is now open.
