Energynautics presents challenges and trends in grid integration of renewables with focus on photovoltaics

Indian delegation of German Solar Association visits Energynautics

In the course of their stay in Germany on the occasion of the Intersolar Europe fair in Munich, a group of Indian visitors from the German Solar Association (BSW) stopped by the Energynautics office in Darmstadt. During the visit, Energynautics presented its activities in grid integration of renewables worldwide and in particular in the field of photovoltaics (PV) in India.

In addition, a live demonstration of the SMECON-Box research project was shown, in which intelligent, self-learning control boxes are being developed for alleviating critical grid situations in the low-voltage grid. A vivid discussion ensued both about the challenges of integrating renewables in India in general and about specific current problems and the need for change in the regulatory framework for the integration and utilization of PV systems.
Due to its vast experience in this field, Energynautics was able to provide key insights and recommendations for further action. Energynautics thanks the participants for the lively and interesting dialogue.
