The Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week featuring the 22nd Wind & Solar Integration Workshop and 7th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium that took place in Copenhagen, Denmark has drawn to a successful close.
From 25-28 September 2023, over 400 participants, representing 30+ countries, convened to delve into case studies, share research discoveries, and explore innovative solutions to grid challenges in the realms of electric mobility, wind, solar, and hydrogen sectors.
22nd Wind & Solar Integration Workshop
The program of the 22nd Wind & Solar Integration Workshop showcased a diverse array of sessions, delving into multifaceted aspects of renewable energy grid integration and grid development. These sessions explored themes including grid forming aspects, system design, storage, decarbonization, power system studies, and beyond. Throughout the three-day conference, speakers and participants engaged in vibrant discussions, examining challenges and innovations in grid technologies and energy systems, emphasizing the integration of renewable energy sources into the grid.
7th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium
Throughout the 7th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium, attendees gained valuable insights into the intricate challenges posed by the integration of extensive electromobility into the grid. With a focus on innovation and practical experiences, sessions covered project insights, smart charging technologies, ancillary service strategies, and considerations related to distribution grid aspects, offering a comprehensive understanding of these key elements within the field.

Participants of the Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week furthermore had the opportunity to engage in networking opportunities and participate in various accompanying events. Save the dates for the Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week 2024, set to convene in Helsinki, Finland from 7 – 10 October 2024.
Industry and academic experts will convene at the Scandic Marina Congress Center for insightful discussions at the 8th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium, 2nd Hydrogen Power System Integration Symposium, and 23rd Wind & Solar Integration Workshop.
The Call for Papers opens on 12 December 2023 running until 28 April 2024.
