Recognition for Lifetime Achievements in Advancement of Renewable Energy

Energynautics’ Thomas Ackermann honored with ESIG Excellence Award

Energynautics is pleased to announce that CEO Thomas Ackermann, a leading expert in the field of renewable energy, has been selected as the recipient of the ESIG Excellence Award for his lifetime achievements in the advancement of renewable energy through teaching, lecturing, research, writing and consulting in support of the clean energy transformation. Energynautics congratulates Thomas Ackermann for the recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions to the renewable energy industry.

The award was presented at the ESIG spring meeting in Tucson, Arizona on Tuesday, 28 March, during the ESIG Awards Reception. Dr. Ackermann emphasized that he sees this award as a distinction for his entire team at Energynautics: „ I am very proud of the excellent work of the many Energynautics employees who have accompanied me on my professional career over the years. In my eyes, this award also belongs to all of them.”

The Energy Systems Integration Group (ESIG) is a non-profit educational association that focuses on providing resources and education to the engineers, researchers, technologists and policymakers for evolving electricity and integrated energy systems.

The ESIG Excellence Awards is an annual program that recognizes energy professionals from around the world for their contributions and accomplishments toward the planning and operation of energy systems across multiple pathways and geographical scales in ways that are reliable, economic and sustainable.
