The training for eight engineers from the Provincial Electricity Authority of Thailand (PEA) included theoretical and practical sessions

Training for GIZ Thailand successfully finalized

In August, the training for eight engineers from the Provincial Electricity Authority of Thailand (PEA) as part of the GIZ program “Advanced Training in Renewable Energy for Utility Management: Towards Digitalization and Innovation”, ended successfully. The training was conducted by Energynautics and consisted of in-house training sessions at Energynautics’ headquarters in Darmstadt as well as study trips and workshops in cooperation with external partners. While the inhouse sessions aimed at providing insights into the current strategies for renewable energy integration in Germany and Europe, the study trips and workshops allowed for direct exchange with PEA’s German counterparts and other relevant companies. After the training, the participants left Darmstadt to gain further practical experience by doing company internships in Germany until the end of November.

In October, the team at Energynautics had the pleasure of welcoming the group back at the headquarters for one day. The engineers were accompanied by three PEA executives, as well as the project partners from GIZ. The executives joined the group in Germany during one week to get a personal impression of the training. For this week, Energynautics supported GIZ one more time in organizing different study trips including both highlights of the summer training and some new aspects.

The Energynautics training team was pleased to cooperate with the following partners: energy & meteo systems, Hochschule Darmstadt, Energy Brainpool, Syna, ABO Wind, Mainzer Stadtwerke, Hessen Mobil, e-netz Südhessen, Ingenieurbüro Stapf, PSI Software AG, Venios, DIgSILENT, WAGO, ETA-Fabrik of TU Darmstadt, Enercon, IRENA, Power Plus Communications AG.
