Continuation of successful collaboration and integration of new partners to enhance renewable energy integration in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
GET.transform Extends Successful Global Collaboration with Energynautics for Three More Years
Energynautics expands its support for GET.transform, a technical assistance programme that aids national and regional partners and institutions in advancing their energy transitions, and intensifies activities in the next implementation phase. Since December 2019, we have been a successful implementation partner for GET.transform, having executed around 50 projects on various topics of variable renewable energy (VRE) integration and long-term energy planning during this period.
The projects to date have concentrated on developing and implementing strategies, regulations, and technical guidelines to enhance renewable energy integration and energy infrastructure resilience across various regions. Key areas included VRE integration studies, energy storage, and grid code updates to support sustainable energy transitions in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Implementation options included conducting studies and reports, capacity-building workshops, and targeted coaching to ensure effective knowledge dissemination, skill development, and hands-on support.
This new phase marks a significant step in scaling up GET.transform’s activities focusing on various key implementation countries across Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. Particularly noteworthy is the integration of new partners who add local competence to our team. In this phase, we are closely collaborating with our new partners Estudios Energéticos Consultores S.A. (GME), IED Consult (Innovation Energie Développement), Moeller & Poeller Engineering GmbH, DIgSILENT Buyisa, and Ea Energy Analysis. These partnerships enhance our ability to successfully implement projects in the field of VRE integration and long-term energy planning.
Further information about GET.transform and our activities can be found on the official GET.transform website.
With the next implementation phase of GET.transform and our new partners, we aim for even stronger collaboration and support for renewable energy to secure a sustainable energy future in the target regions.
